Mizan Terms of Use

1. What Mizan is

Mizan scans product barcodes and gives packaged food and supplements a score from 0 to 100 for the goal you choose. Scores are computed from the nutrition values printed on the label and from community and Open Food Facts data.

2. Not medical advice

Scores, verdicts and swaps are guidance to help you compare products. They are not medical, nutritional or health advice and do not replace a professional. Product data may be incomplete or out of date; always check the label, especially for allergens.

3. Mizan Pro

Mizan Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (annual with a free trial, or monthly) bought through Google Play or the App Store under their terms. It renews until cancelled in the store at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by the store.

4. Contributions

When you add or correct a product, you grant Mizan a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display and share that product data (photos and values) in the app and database. Only submit label photos and values you have the right to share; no personal data or unrelated images.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, submit false product data, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with the service.

6. Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Mizan is not liable for decisions made based on scores or for errors in product data.
